Action Africa Help - International (AAH-I) is an international non-governmental organization operating in the greater horn of Africa region and operates in the following countries: Southern Sudan, Kenya, Uganda, Somalia and Zambia. In Southern Sudan its registration number is 199.

The organization aims at expanding its operations to cover more disadvantaged communities in this dynamic region. The organization has its regional headquarters based in Nairobi Kenya and country programme offices in the host countries.

Location: Sudan (the) Yei Southern Sudan

The Country Finance Manager will be responsible for ensuring all financial processes are functioning effectively and efficiently and monitor financial results to detect risks and address them.

The position holder will plan, execute and evaluate all activities of financial management of AAH-I Sudan Country Programme.S/He will be responsible for creating, reviewing, updating and enforcing compliance of the Programme's financial policies and procedures and manage the performance of the Finance staff.

Required Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance or Business Administration.
• CPA III or ACCA Finalist certificate.
• At lease 6 years experience in donor accounting, reporting and budget

  • Strong and analytical skills with good attention to details.
  • Ability to provide leadership to team members
  • Self driven, results oriented with positive outlook, a clear focus on high quality and a forward planner.
  • Emphatic communicator, able to see things from the other person's point of view.
  • Able to communicate and motivate others.
  • Computer literate and must be adept in use of Microsoft office application and an accounting software programme such as pastel.
